My journey with Yoga
Meditation, mantra, and the ethics of yoga have been part of my ancestral and spiritual heritage, passed down in childhood as tools for healing and guidance. And so, in navigating adulthood, leaning deeper into yoga intuitively became a transformative and essential practice.
While Pranayama has been crucial in managing anxiety and improving my mental health, the physical practice enhanced my strength and flexibility. It’s also encouraged mindfulness when having to adapt due to living with a chronic condition - Axial spondyloarthritis.
As I embody and deepen my own practice, I also stay connected by continuing my learning and guiding others through their own.

What are classes with me like?
When practicing with me, I encourage a space for you to tune in to how you’re feeling, where you can drown out the noise of the outside world, reconnect both emotionally and physically, all in working towards self-liberation.
Working in a creative industry for over a decade means I encourage and bring that same open-vibe, fun and creative energy to all my classes.
I hold a judgement free and inclusive space where students of all levels can honour the traditions of the practice, while moving along in a mindful and meditative way, with some trance-inducing / South Asian sounds.
